AIR
Asian Spirit maintains flight to Catarman from Manila four times a week. It can also be reached by plane via to Cebu to Calbayog and by taking jeepney or bus from Calbayog to Catarman.

Travel time is about 14 to 16 hours by bus (12 to 14 by car) passing through Matnog, Sorsogon and crossing the famous San Bernardino Strait via ferry boat to Salvacion, San Isidro or to Dapdap and Looc, Allen, Northern Samar. Regular and air-conditioned buses from the centerpoint, Catarman, the capital town, are available.

Northern Samar can be reached by boat from Manila and Cebu via Calbayog City, Catbalogan and Tacloban City. Some inter-island shipping companies have scheduled travel to the ports of San Jose and Laoang.
