Pinabacdao is a third class municipality in the province of Samar, Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 14,492 in 2,549 households. It is the center of rice production in the province of Samar. It is also known for its “Mayao-mayao Festival” which is being held annually. Brgy. Dolores is the economic zone of Pinabacdao while Brgy. Mambog serves as its capital and center of govenance.
Municipality of Pinabacdao is politically subdivided into 24 barangays.
