Hinundayan is a 5th class municipality in the province of Southern Leyte, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 11,113 people in 2,510 households. Today people has nominated renaming of this municipality to Epefanio City.
Hinundayan is politically subdivided into 17 barangays.
